Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookups - Do They Really Exist?

With so much demand for services that look up cell phone numbers and return information about the owner, a common question is whether free services like this exist.
Home numbers are listed freely...
so cell phone numbers should be listed for free too, right? The answer, unfortunately, is no.
Here's why...
Traditional "landline" numbers for homes are in the public domain and are freely available (that's why they're in the phone book), and so services to lookup these numbers are also going to be freely available.
You don't need to Google a lot to find them.
They'll typically give you the name and address of the owner, and are quick and easy to use.
Cell phones are different.
They aren't in the public domain, and they are definitely not published openly.
We don't have phone books for these.
And when it comes to making databases of cell phone numbers, much of the information has to be compiled manually, and has to be taken from a variety of sources.
In order to get cell phone numbers, the database designer needs to purchase the information from other companies.
When you're making a database of millions of numbers, this is not cheap.
Databases can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars to build and maintain.
To make this back, there has to be a fee.
Luckily, cell phone directory services are still pretty cheap, especially when you consider the cost to make them.
This is a big industry.
There is a lot of demand for reverse cell phone lookups, and so these services can charge very low prices.
They make money back through the large volume of customers they get.
So, Is It Worth Paying For These Services? Obviously it will depend on your needs, but in many cases the answer is yes.
These services will allow you to search an unlimited number of times, so you can look up every single phone number you are unsure about if you wanted to.
They also give a ton of information about the owner, and can give you the owner's name, address, age, birth date, relatives, neighbors and more.
Personally, I have tried almost every reverse cell phone lookup service on the market today.
Some of them are naturally better than others.
You just need to know where to look.
