I’m grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for how he has miraculously kept me safe and well, despite many issues that have threatened my physical, emotional, and spiritual health since I moved away from my wife and family for a while to work at a new job in the United Arab Emirates.

Problems with my thyroid and cholesterol afflicted my body, but after prayer, Jesus empowered me to make the changes I needed to make in to my diet and find the best medications to treat the issue, so that now my medical tests have normal results.

I had also been struggling with depression, which was causing me to become tired and lose interest in activities I had enjoyed before separating from my family to take my new job. My family supported me in prayer, and by the grace of God my depression lifted and I was able to enjoy life again.

Finally, while away from my wife I gave into a temptation that I shouldn’t have, and felt terribly guilty about it. But Jesus’ love was strong enough to forgive me, and I’m relying on his love to strengthen me as I’m now working to restore my marriage.

It’s a miracle that God, through Jesus Christ, has forgiven my weaknesses and mistakes and is still helping me to fulfill great purposes for my life. Even though I ventured far from my family, I can never go too far from God -- his love will find me wherever I am, and he will lead me back to his purposes for me.
