Guide Review - Doctrinal Details of the Plan of Salvation: LDS Book Review
This book is a great reference guide for teaching the Plan of Salvation. As one who believes in only using church approved material in our church teaching this book applies, because the answers come from the scriptures with all the material in one location. I told my daughter that every person who ever says they have had the lesson on the Plan of Salvation over and over again should take the quiz in the first chapter to see how much they really know. She took the quiz and realized she had lots to learn.
She also made the comment that many of the questions were ones she, herself, had but no one would answer. She wanted to read more and learn more- what more could a mother of a 16 year old want? I missed 11 out of the 42 questions and learned a lot from this short book even though I have been learning about the Plan of Salvation for 39 years. Since our purpose on earth is to gain exaltation, and we accomplish this through the great Plan of Salvation, this is a great resource for all.
