Why Private Messages on Social Media Systems Are Not Private

Private messages on social media systems are private.
However, they are only private to a point.
There are many services that exist that can pierce through the veil of "social media privacy" to show a business owner or business exactly who said that post and where they said it.
This means that no one is safe on the social media systems if they talk about the wrong keyword.
Most of the services that can do this are key word based.
This means that a person can summon "the eye of Sauron" by talking about the right keyword.
If they do not mention that keyword (or a keyword that someone is tracking in this case) then they are fine.
However, there are many businesses that are paranoid about what happens to them in the social media systems.
Therefore, there are very few business names that do not raise red flags on the social media systems.
There have been many cases when the government has sent travelers back home due to updates that they posted in their own social media networks.
This means that a person should be very careful about what they post on their social media systems even if they are joking.
The governments of the world will take every post seriously and will act accordingly.
They will send people back if they feel they are a threat to the security of their nation and maybe they should have that right.
Whatever the case maybe, a person can reasonably expect their posts and updates to be monitored by someone.
If the post is not monitored, then the post can be monitored retroactively.
The people who do this are people who look at public social media systems to decide whether or not they should hire a person to their business.
This means that not only are the posts monitored for security purposes, but they are also retroactively monitored for job purposes.
Therefore, a person must understand that the social networks do not equate to privacy in anyway shape or form.
The social networks are networks that a person can lose their privacy very easily.
Social networks are places where a person can essentially hand over their identity to and identity thief.
The social networks are not private.
The way to counter this is to manage a profile knowing that everything posted will eventually be seen by everyone around on the internet.
This gives the user the right mindset when using the social system.
A person must protect their identity at every turn and be honest about what the social media system is doing to them.
