How to Troubleshoot a Bosch Dishwasher That Will Not Add Water

    • 1). Locate the water supply behind the Bosch dishwasher or under the kitchen sink and make sure the water faucet is turned on.

    • 2). Remove the water hose and shake it to loosen and remove any debris. Remove the inlet screen from inside the hose and clean it out. Look at the connection point with the dishwasher and clean out any possible obstructions. Connect the hose back to the dishwasher, tightening firmly.

    • 3). Find the water inlet valve, located under the float assembly on the dishwasher floor. The float assembly looks like a small cone. Clean away any debris that may be creating an obstruction to the water valve.

    • 4). Tap on the float assembly to verify that it can move up and down easily.

    • 5). Clean the wash arms with a clean, damp cloth and remove any debris from spray jets with a toothpick.
