How to Import Blender Meshes to Roblox
- 1). Go to wiki.roblox.com. Highlight the entire script provided toward the bottom of the page. Click "Ctrl+C" to copy it.
- 2). Click "Start," "Notepad."
- 3). Paste the script into Notepad. Click "File," "Save as." Save the file as an .a8s file (e.g., mymesh.a8s).
- 4). Go to the Anim8or site. Click "Enter." Select "Download." Click on the "animv095c.zip" file and allow it to download. Double-click on the downloaded zip folder to open it. Click on the "Anim8or" application file inside. Follow the prompts to install the program on your computer.
- 5). Open Anim8or. Click "File," "Configure." Click the button next to "Scripts" and choose the .a8s script that was saved with Notepad. Click "OK."
- 6). Check the box next to "Preload Scripts" in the configuration window. Click "OK."
- 7). Close and reopen Anim8or. When reopening Anim8or, a notice should state "Compiling "C:\[location folders]\[script name].a8s": 61 lines 0 errors." This means you have successfully configured the script. If there is no notice or a different notice, try to reconfigure the script again.
- 8). Click "Import." Choose your saved mesh file in the window. Select "Object," "Export" at the top of the interface. Save the mesh file. Choose the "Save as type" menu and select "Mesh:plug-in(*.mesh). Click "Save."

Click "Tools." Select the brick that you will apply the mesh to. Select "Insert," "Object." Choose "SpecialMesh." Click "OK." - 12
Click the "Properties" tab and change the MeshType to FileMesh. - 13
Type the path of your mesh, or where your mesh file is saved on your computer, in the MeshID field (e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\...). Press "Enter." The mesh is now imported.
