Setting Up HTC Sync

• 1). Download and install HTC Sync to your computer from the HTC support website at htc.com/support.
  
  
• 2). Double-click on the "HTC Connect" icon in your system tray to launch HTC Sync.
  
  
• 3). Connect your HTC Droid Incredible 2 to your computer using the USB cable supplied with the phone.
  
  
• 4). Tap "HTC Sync" and then tap "Done" on the "Connect to PC" screen . This screen appears on your Incredible 2 when you connect the device to your computer.
  
  
• 5). Allow HTC Sync a few moments to recognize your phone. When prompted by the setup screen, enter a name for your device and click "Save."
  
  

Syncing Music

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "Music" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate music syncing.
  
  
• 3). Select "Sync music files from" and click "Add."
  
  
• 4). Choose the folder containing the audio files you wish to sync and click "OK."
  
  
• 5). Click "Sync music files from iTunes and Windows Media Player" if you use either of these programs. You can then select whether to sync all songs and playlists or only songs from selected playlists.
  
  

Syncing Pictures

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "Gallery" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate picture and video syncing.
  
  
• 3). Select "Sync PC Photos & Videos From" and click "Add."
  
  
• 4). Choose the folder containing the image and video files you wish to sync and click "OK."
  
  
• 5). Select "Copy Device Camera Shots to PC" if you want to import all camera shots to your computer during synchronization.
  
  

Syncing the Calendar

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "Calendar" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate calendar syncing.
  
  
• 3). Select the programs from which you wish to sync calendar events.
  
  
• 4). Choose the point at which you want the calendar sync to begin.
  
  
• 5). Select which calendar information you wish to keep if there is a conflict between the phone's calendar and the computer's.
  
  

Syncing Contacts

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "People" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate contact syncing.
  
  
• 3). Choose the program from which you wish to sync contacts.
  
  
• 4). Select the information you want to keep if a conflict arises between the contact information on the phone and the contact information on the computer.
  
  

Syncing Bookmarks

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "Bookmarks" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate bookmark syncing.
  
  
• 3). Select the Web browser from which your contacts will be synced.
  
  

Syncing Documents

• 1). Select your Incredible 2 from the Device panel and click the "Documents" category.
  
  
• 2). Click the "On" button to activate document syncing.
  
  
• 3). Select "Sync PC Documents From" and click "Add."
  
  
• 4). Choose the folder containing the document files you wish to sync and click "OK."
  
  
• 5). Select "Copy All Download Mail Documents to PC" to sync any email attachments stored on the phone to your computer.
  
  

Syncing the Data

• 1). Double-check each category to make sure everything you want to sync has been configured in each section of the Device Panel.
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Overview" button to see a summary of your phone's software information, phone name and SD card storage usage to confirm that your SD card will have enough space to save the data you are syncing. Pictures, music, video and documents all will be stored on the card, so sufficient space is a must.
  
  
• 3). Return to the Device Panel and click "Sync Now" to begin the sync process. Depending on the amount of data being synced, this could take some time.
  
  
• 4). Click "Disconnect" once syncing is complete. You can now disconnect the Incredible 2 from the computer without risking data loss.
