Guide Review - Review of Tempur-Cloud Mattress from Tempur-Pedic
The Tempur-Pedic Cloud mattress is one of the newer additions to the Tempur-Pedic mattress collections. It is also the softest mattress by Tempur-Pedic. This mattress is for those who like the firm support of a Tempur-Pedic mattress, but wish it wasn't so, well, firm.
There are two mattresses in this collection, the Tempur-Cloud and the Tempur-Cloud Supreme which as you may guess from the name is the more luxurious of the two.
When you look at the Tempur-Cloud, you notice right away that it looks a little bit different from the other Tempur-Pedic mattresses you've seen before. It also looks a little bit more plush.
For me, personally, the mattress felt very comfortable, and there was the initial "aaah" moment as I sank into it. It felt as though any aches and pains were being taken away, and even shifting my weight and changing my position did not diminish that sense of comfort.
The comfort level of a mattress is completely determined by how a user feels about it. A company can claim all kinds of advanced technology and superior manufacturing techniques, but if you are not comfortable then don't buy that mattress.
The mattress has a TEMPUR-ES comfort layer, on top of a support layer, which in turn rests on the AirFlow System base layer. You can get the Tempur-Cloud in all sizes ranging from twin to king and California king. It is also available in split/dual king and split/dual California king sizes.
The Tempur-Cloud mattress comes with removable cover that is also washable. These mattresses are allergen and mite resistant, so may provide some relief for allergies. There is an ongoing concern about the Tempur-Pedic smell which is often termed overpowering. Tempur-Pedic mattresses are manufactured from engineered material, so if you have any chemical sensitivities, you should not consider buying them.
Tempur-Pedic offers a 20 year warranty and a 3 month tryout period and if you feel that this not the mattress for you, they will take it back and offer a refund (minus a small fee) However, the 3 month tryout offer is available only on Tempur-Pedic factory direct mattress purchases.
