Royal Enfield to Launch Diesel Bikes Once Again in India

Royal Enfield, one of India's largest motorcycle manufacturer plans to launch diesel bikes in India by 2012. This will be a new addition to its range of Bullet bikes. Royal Enfield has a conversation with other motorcycle manufacturers in India.

In addition, the Hero Group to start work on the diesel engine that is already in certification testing at ARAI. We expect that the new bike 400 cc diesel will be available in India in the next fiscal. Royal Enfield India has launched two of its motorcycles under the name Royal Enfield Bullet Classic and 350cc Royal En-field Bullet Classic 500 cc. It is expected that these two models will get a diesel motor. Cycling is expected to get a new form and ensure diesel engine is attached. Royal Enfield Bullet Classic Royal Infield 350cc and 500cc Classic Bullet in selling high demand in India and around the world. The colors on the bikes have not been declared but it is certain that the company will make their new bikes very attractive. For the above mentioned bikes are very popular in India and has heavy engines. Thus, the Royal En field will receive profit from the popularity of their bikes. Royal En-field is now focusing on increasing its base in the global market. Royal En field Fury is one of the most popular bicycles that the company was re-launched likely to increase the popularity of it. On the other hand, Hero Company now operates independently without their longtime partner, Honda. Hero has also announced to launch its first 400 cc motorcycle. Java is the first motorcycle manufacturer in India that produced diesel engines and got great feedback from clients. It is because the diesel bikes have tremendous power and low maintenance costs. Although diesel bikes are not very common in India, it will be very popular within a few years after a company like Royal En-field and Hero of the group starts production types of bikes. The diesel bikes are very durable and perform well. Thus the Indian bikers will offer diesel engines. Although it is considered that, the bikes can cost a lot; the price will be reduced as more companies will start making bikes as diesel. En-field, as a plan to launch of sorts, plans to bring diesel-powered bike back to the Indian market, the project which is already at work. It was the first two wheel manufacturers to introduce diesel bikes in the late 1990s. Among the new launches, the company has planned a street version of the concept of Cafe Racer, to be introduced over the next 12-18 months. The company does not face competition from any manufacturer for the class of motorcycle makes, with engine capacity of 350cc and 500cc.
