Internet marketer who are new to article marketing and even those who are not, do not yet seem to understand all the benefits of article marketing.
It is true that writing articles, when well researched and expertly presented, will drive traffic to your site.
This has never been disputed as far as I know.
The problem that some marketers seem to have, those who have not yet perfected their craft usually, is that they do not see any other benefits to article marketing.
I have come up with many benefits, many more than people realize and I'm going to share just some of them with you now.

Name recognition.
You are an expert in your field, or at least that's what people will think when they research a certain topic and see your name everywhere.

Building lots of one way links in high quality site.
As much as I love EzineArticles.
com there are other ways to submit your work.
There are even other ways of submitting your work to sites that are not necessarily article sites: Blogger, Squidoo, Hubpages, Facebook, Twitter.
All of these site have generous PageRank and will cause Google and other search engine, over time to give you a lot of respect.

One in ten articles your write will be a winner.
By winner, I mean that most of your articles should see you earn some recognition and some traffic.
However, one in ten will land on the front page of Google, I can almost guarantee it.
But this brings up another concern.
In order to achieve that one in ten, you need to write.
You will need to write a lot.
