Survey after survey continue to show that woman find abs to be the most attractive part of a mans body, when you have them, that is! The majority these days tend to be beer guts and love handles, even on guys that workout on a regular basis still have to much abdominal fat to expose those 6 pack abs.
Most of us tend to just reside to living with our guts because we believe it to difficult to achieve a flat stomach unless you are a pro athlete or at the very least a dedicated amateur.
Well I'm here t tell you that you can loose that stomach fat by changing a few simple but crucial things in your routine.
Let's get one thing straight right now...
Abdominal exercises do NOT burn fat away from your abs, period! Ab belts, ab-rockers, ab-loungers, and other infomercial ab-gimmicks are all a complete waste of your time and money.
Despite the misleading infomercials, they do inform you of one important piece of information; Ab exercises like crunches, sit-ups are the LEAST effective method of getting flat six pack abs, and that includes ab machines.
You need to adopt a new way of thinking about food, working out, and a realistic goal of what you can achieve.
There are three Major components of your exercise program that you should incorporate into your weekly routine to get abs.
You need to perform a few weight lifting exercises, cardio 2 to 4 times a week, and abdominal specific exercises.
These are the three components to lose stomach fat and constructing muscle.
Even people who are not looking to be necessarily bulk up are still required to build muscle since it will assist in burning more calories all throughout the day.
Don't rely on hundreds of sit-ups and crunches that can result in back and neck pain.
There are a wide variety of abdominal specific and stomach exercises at your disposal.
Make sure to vary your abs workout so your body does not get used to any one causing you to plateau.
This also allows you to workout with less reps and still achieve ripped abs.
Remember that a basic principle of building any muscle group is rest.
Be sure to allow for at least a full days rest between ab workouts.
