    Pumpkin Bowling

    • Pumpkins are probably the most recognized symbol associated with Halloween. These orange gourds are a part of the folklore and tradition of Halloween celebrations. Pumpkin Bowling is a game that can be played by people during the holiday season. This game uses pumpkins that are about the size of regular bowling balls to knock down "pins" that are made out of empty 2-liter plastic bottles filled with water. Participants play this game in the same way that regular bowling is played. Bottles can be filled with more water in order to increase the difficulty level of knocking them over. Game players should have at least three pumpkins apiece when playing this game since pumpkins could easily break apart during game play.

    Harvest Party games

    • Many communities typically throw Harvest parties as a part of their annual fall celebrations and they usually occur during the Halloween season. Harvest party games can also be included within this event. Some of these events could games such as "jail" and "maze." Jail is a game where party participants are randomly selected to be placed inside of a small space or room after being apprehended by a sheriff. Sheriffs can determine the amount of time party prisoners can stay inside of jail, which shouldn't be more than a few minutes since it's a party. Maze is a game that is played with lots of large size cardboard boxes that have been taped together and placed inside of a dark area. Participants in this game have to crawl through the boxes that have been arranged in a maze. Hostesses should ensure that people remain safe while crawling through the dark area.

    Hell House

    • According to some Christian traditions, hell is the place where people go after they die if they don't believe in Jesus Christ to take away their sins. Christians can create Hell Houses in place of the traditional Halloween haunted houses. Scenes of torment and burning souls in the Lake of Fire can be made. Individuals who create Hell Houses can compete against each other to see who comes up with the scariest scene. Since Hell Houses are primarily used for evangelizing purposes, hostesses should be careful with how they present some subject matter since this is a very controversial religious issue.

    Biblical Character Party

    • Bible character parties can be given during the Halloween season for Christians that don't celebrate Halloween but still want to participate in some of the customs. Party participants can dress up in biblical costumes and have a contest to determine who has the best one. Party-goers who participate in this activity can also mix in other games that are Halloween-related. Individuals that like the idea of trick-or-treating could substitute it with a game called "candy grab." This game is played by having a bunch of different types of candy placed inside of large bowls or containers and then having the party members grab as much candy as they can while under a time limit.
