How to Clean the Bissell DirtLifter PowerBrush
- 1). Turn off the machine and unplug it to avoid electric shock.
- 2). Remove the water tank from the machine by lowering the machine's handle and lifting the handle of the water tank to unlock it from the machine. Set the water tank aside.
- 3). Tip the machine on its side so you can access the brush.
- 4). Pull hairs and string from the DirtLifter PowerBrush. Use scissors to clip the hairs and string if they don't come off. Rotate the brush as you are working to ensure it is completely clean.
- 5). Turn the machine right side up. Put the water tank into the machine and lower the handle to lock it in place. Lift the machine's handle to bring the machine into the upright position. Store the machine or continue using it.
