Displaying the Battery Percent Icon on a Jailbroken iPhone 3G

• 1). Launch Cydia from a jailbroken iPhone 3G. There are many methods to jailbreak an iPhone 3G; be sure to select one that utilizes Cydia.
  
  
• 2). Open the Manage tab and then the Sources button.
  
  
• 3). Press the Edit button followed by the Add button. Enter the following URL into the source line: "http://apt.iPhone-storage.de", without the question marks. Press Add Source to add this to Cydia's sources.
  
  
• 4). Press the Search button followed by the Install button once Cydia has located the asBattery program source. Press the Confirm button to continue the process. Once installed, restart the iPhone 3G.
  
  
• 5). Open the Settings icon once you have restarted. Then open the General folder, followed by the Usage folder and then toggle the Battery Percentage slider to On.
