In honor of Veterans Day, numerous restaurants are graciously offering a variety of discounts and freebies as a way to express their thanks and appreciation to current and former military personnel.

Below, you'll find an alphabetical list of various eateries that are offering Veterans Day discounts. Please note, since Veterans Day falls on Sunday, November 11, many of the restaurants are offering the discounts on Monday, November 12.

Additionally, all of the deals listed below are at participating restaurants only so you may want to call ahead and inquire.

Restaurants Offering Veterans Day Deals

Applebee's
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012
Details: Veterans and active duty servicemembers may choose one free meal from a menu which features six entrees. In order to receive this offer, you must show one or more of the following: Military Id; Retiree ID; Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES); or a Veterans Organization Card. You may also present a photo of yourself in uniform or show up in your uniform.

Chili's
When: Sunday November 11, 2012
Details: Chili's is offering a free meal to Military Veterans from any era. You may choose one free meal from a menu featuring six different meals. Furthermore, all of their desserts are only $5 for Veterans and active duty military personnel. In order to receive these offers you must show valid proof of military service.

Denny's
When: Monday, November 12, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Details: Active, inactive and retired military personnel can receive a free all-you-can-eat pancake meal. Don't forget to bring your military ID because you'll need to show it in order to receive this free offer.

Golden Corral
When: Monday, November 12, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Details: This is the 9th year that Golden Corral is presenting their Annual Military Appreciation Dinner. The free dinner is for anyone who has ever served, or is serving, in the U.S. Military.

Hooters
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012
Details: Veterans and active duty military personnel can receive 10 free boneless wings at all participating Hooters. To receive this offer you must show your military ID or some form of proof of service.

Little Caesars Pizza
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012
Details: Veterans, show your military ID or DD214 and receive a free Crazy Bread.

Longhorn Steakhouse
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012
Details: Veterans and active duty servicemembers can receive a free Texas Tonion and non-alcoholic beverage. Must show proof of service to receive this offer.

Krispy Kreme
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012
Details: Veterans, active duty servicemembers and retirees can receive a free doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme's.

Olive Garden
When: Monday, November 12, 2012
Details: Show proof of service and receive a free meal from a special menu containing several entrees. Also, some participating Olive Garden restaurants will be giving Veterans a $10 gift card that they may use at a later date.

Outback
When: Sunday, November 11, 2012 and Monday, November 12, 2012
Details: Veterans and active duty military personnel can receive a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca Cola beverage. To receive this offer you must show proof of service.

Panera Bread
When: Monday, November 12, 2012 and Tuesday, November 13, 2012
Details: Receive a free "You Pick Two" meal by showing up in uniform or presenting your military ID.

Red Robin
When: Monday, November 12, 2012
Details: Red Robin is giving away one free Tavern Double to current and former servicemembers who show some type of proof of service or arrive wearing their military uniform.

Sizzler
When: Monday, November 12, 2012, until 4:00 p.m.
Details: Veterans and active duty servicemembers can receive a free lunch from a special entrée menu. To receive this offer you must show a military ID, Veterans Organization card, photo of yourself in uniform, or arrive in your military uniform.

Spaghetti Warehouse
When: Friday, November 9, 2012 thru Monday, November 12, 2012
Details: The Spaghetti Warehouse wants you to take a Veteran to lunch and they're offering a Buy One Get One Free deal on their Lasagna or any Original Recipe Spaghetti Entrée. To utilize this offer you must present a coupon, which can be received by either liking this Facebook page or from the Spaghetti Warehouse Web site.

Texas Roadhouse
When: Monday, November 12, 2012
Details: Active duty, former military and retirees can choose a free lunch off of a special Veterans Menu, which features ten meals to choose from. This offer also includes your choice of a Coca Cola product, Iced Tea/Sweet Tea or coffee.
