Cell Phones That Work With a Stylus
- The BlackBerry Storm is a touch-screen version of Research In Motion's popular mobile device. The Storm weighs 5.64 ouches and and has dimensions of 4.43 inches in height, 2.45 inches in width, with a depth of .55 inches thick. The unit comes in black and has a 3.25-inch screen (measured diagonally). The battery offers a talk time up to 5.5 hours and 12.7 days standby. The Storm has expandable memory by way of a microSD card slot with a standard 16 GB media card included.
- The Apple iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 each are available with a 3.7-inch (diagonal) touch-screen display. Choose among the 16 GB and 32 GB models of the iPhone 4, while the iPhone 3Gs is currently available with 8 GB on-board storage. The iPhone 4 is available in the United States with either AT&T or Verizon; the 3Gs is available through AT&T only. Both iPhone models have rear-facing cameras, while the iPhone 4 has an additional front-facing camera for video conferencing and still photos.
- The HD2 from Taiwanese mobile company HTC, has a 4.3-inch (diagonal) capacitive touch-screen display. The user interface is a combination of HTC Sense and the Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system. The HD2 stands 4.74 inches tall and 2.64 inches wide with a thickness of .43 inches. The HTC weighs 5.54 ounces with a removable battery installed. One rear-facing auto-focus camera and dual LED flash is provided. The rechargeable battery allows 8 hours of video playback, 12 hours audio playback and up to 6 hours talk time.
- Nokia's n900 has a 3.5-inch touch screen (measured diagonally), as well as a slideout QWERTY keypad. The rear-facing camera offers 3x zoom and a dual LED flash. Internal storage holds 32 GB with an expandable microSD slot, accepting 16 GB memory cards. The n900 includes an integrated GPS for location-based applications, as well as full support for Adobe Flash Web content. An FM transmitter is built-in to the Nokia to accompany the onboard media player.
