    • 1). Check with your cell phone service provider for terms and conditions about your specific account for sending and receiving text messages. You will want to know whether you have an unlimited texting plan, or if each text message is going to cost you to send and receive.

    • 2). Click on the original text message.

    • 3). Press the reply button on your phone. Some phones do not have a reply button. These phones usually have a feature that automatically opens up a reply section on the phone.

    • 4). Type your text message. Some phones have a full keyboard while others require you to select a number corresponding to the letter you want to type. For example, if you want to type a "C" you would push the "1" button three times.

    • 5). Click "Send" to send your text message.

    • 6). Check your outbox to ensure that your text was sent. If you see a message in your outbox that says your message was not sent, click on the message and try to send it again.
