    • 1). Weave strings of outdoor white mini- lights throughout a 10-foot grapevine garland. Hot glue seasonal faux flowers and foliage to the vines to add color. Insert long nails into the top edge of the trim over your door. Allow the nails to protrude about a half inch. Suspend the center section of your garland over the nails. The ends of the garland will trail on both sides of the door.

    • 2). Secure one end of the grapevine garland to the end of your porch railing with a clear electrical plastic tie purchased at any hardware store. You can remove them with wire cutters when you are ready to remove the vines. Place another tie around the garland and railing a few feet from the end. Allow the vines to swag slightly. Continue this step until you have reached the end of your railing.

    • 3). Place a garland over the tops of your windows. Insert nails along the top edge of your window trim spacing them about 12 inches apart. Loop tendrils from the vines over the nails to secure the vine above the window. Trim the ends of the garland to a pleasing length. Make a florist's bow and wire it to the center top of the garland.

    • 4). Wrap a grapevine around a pine tree for a rustic decoration. Thread outdoor white mini-lights throughout the vines. Attach the end of the garland to the top of the tree with paddle wire. Twist the vines around the tree, gradually dropping the garland to lay on lower branches. Use an outdoor extension cord to connect the lights to a covered outlet.
