How to Free Mice From Glue Traps
- 1). Pour baby oil over the glue board, especially around the mouse. Be careful not to get baby oil into the mouse's eyes.
- 2). Allow the baby oil to work its way into the adhesive for five minutes. It takes away the glue's stickiness.
- 3). Put protective gloves on, and gently try to pry the mouse off. If the mouse is stuck at all, don't pull it off.
- 4). Pour more baby oil around the mouse's body, and gently push a cotton swab under the mouse to get it off. Be extremely gentle as to not cause any more pain to the mouse.
- 5). Take the glue board and mouse to a veterinarian if your methods prove unsuccessful.
