Naval Enlisted Reserve Association

• The Naval Enlisted Reserve Association is an advocacy organization for all enlisted, retired and full-time support Navy reservists. The association takes suggestions from its members and presents them to governmental agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Homeland Security. One significant reform achieved through the efforts of the association was the removal of Social Security numbers from all reserve identification cards. Naval Order of the United States

• The Naval Order of the Untied States was founded in 1890. It is the oldest organization dedicated to U.S. Navy members. The purpose of the organization is to encourage research and writing on naval and maritime issues and preserve naval-related documents and portraits of prominent figures in Navy history. Any U.S. citizen who has served or is serving in the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or any other federal military maritime service of the United States may become a member.
  
  

Navy League of the United States

• The Navy League of the United States is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating United States citizens about the need and importance of the Navy to the security of the Untied States. The league was founded in 1902 with the encouragement of President Theodore Roosevelt. Any interested American citizen may become a member. An individual membership costs $50 for one year and $90 for two years. A lifetime membership costs $500.
  
  

The Naval Historical Foundation

• The Naval Historical Foundation was formed in 1926. The foundation has three primary missions. The first is to educate Americans on the history and importance of the Navy and the sacrifices made by members of the Navy. Second, the foundation acquires and curates artifacts and documents related to the Navy. Finally, the foundation commemorates important historical Navy events. Annual membership is available to anyone and costs $20 for students and $35 for all others. A lifetime membership costs $500.
