How to Check on Louisiana Tax Refund
- 1). Find a copy of your Louisiana state income tax return. Note the amount of the refund calculated on the form.
- 2). Log on to the Louisiana Department of Revenue and go to the tax status site. Enter your user name and password if you have already created an account.
- 3). Click the "Create User Account" link if you do not already have an account established with the state of Louisiana. Enter the user name and password you want to use for the site. Provide answers to the security questions when creating the account. These security questions allow you to access your account if you forget or mistype your password.
- 4). Enter your user name and password on the site. You will see your tax refund status listed once you log on.
