Premise:

The Law & Order franchise travels across the country to the mean streets of Los Angeles. Fans of the other L&O series can expect the same style of storytelling as its predecessors, where the first half of the episode is spent capturing the criminals, who are then handed over to the justice system.

Canceled:

Despite killing off one of the series regulars in an attempt to lure in viewers, NBC canceled the series in May, 2010 after all 22 episodes had aired.

  • The series goes by the nickname LOLA and is a decendent of mothership series Law & Order, which lasted for 20 seasons on NBC.
  • Series star Terrence Howard received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for his role in the film Hustle and Flow.
  • Skeet Ulrich's last big television role was on the CBS drama Jericho. When the network canceled the series after the first season, fans got together to launch one of the most memorable campaigns ever - they sent more than 20 tons of nuts to the CBS offices!
