How to Sync Contacts From Exchange to an Iphone
- 1). Bring up the "Start" menu and select "Administrative Tools-> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager."
- 2). Select the "Server Name" and then open the "Application Pools" folder. Right-click "MSExchangeSyncAppPool" and select "Start." ActiveSync is now activated for your Exchange account. If you do not have access to these settings at your workplace, talk to your IT department about whether ActiveSync is enabled for your company's server.
- 3). Select "Settings" on your iPhone and open the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option. Select "Add Account" under the "Accounts" section.
- 4). Touch the "Microsoft Exchange" logo to set up an Exchange account to work with your iPhone. It should be the first option.
- 5). Touch each field to enter the email address you want to sync: your domain, user name and password. Touch the description field and enter the name you would like your account to appear under in your mailbox, calendars section and contacts.
- 6). Touch "Next." The iPhone will search and sync your Exchange account automatically and your mail, contacts and calendars will be available on the phone in a matter of moments.
