How to Find the Titanic Graphic Organizer
- 1). Set up the Titanic lesson plan or lesson unit you will teach. Narrow down a focus, such as the story of immigrants traveling on board, a journalist focus with newspapers or another topic.
- 2). Adapt an existing graphic organizer to your lesson plan, if possible. A journalist graphic organizer asking the five main questions (who, what, where, why, how) would work well for the newspaper example.
- 3). Find a specific graphic organizer for teaching Titanic (see Resources). Search for "Titanic graphic organizer" in an online search engine. Ask other educators who have taught this unit.
- 4). Print copies of the graphic organizer and distribute them to each student for use during the lesson.
