How to Identify a Maytag Dryer
- 1). Look for the Maytag branding on the control panel, or front panel of the dryer.
- 2). Locate the model number and serial number sticker on the dryer. The model number and serial number sticker are located either inside the door jamb, on the inside of the dryer door, on the rear of the control panel or on the bottom of the side of the dryer.
- 3). Look for the Maytag branding on the model number and serial number sticker.
- 4). Type the model number into the search box of an appliance parts website, such as Sears Parts Direct, Part Select or Appliance Parts Pros and click "Search." When the search results are displayed, the manufacturer's name is also displayed.
