    • 1). Hold the golf club over a sink under the faucet. Turn the faucet on long enough to get the grip wet. Turn the faucet off.

    • 2). Squirt a few drops of the dish-washing soap onto the golf club grip. Gently scrub the entire grip with a brush. A small head toothbrush works well for reaching into cracks and crevices.

    • 3). Rinse the club grip under the faucet to remove the soap and suds. Make sure you rinse it well so there's no residue left.

    • 4). Dry the grip. Use a clean, soft towel to do the job. Now when you hold the club, your hands should no longer slide around on the grip.
