Sheep Ornament Instructions
- 1). Hold one end of the yarn against the cardboard rectangle. Wrap the yarn around the width of the cardboard 30 to 40 times; cut the end, when the wrapping is complete.
- 2). Slide the wrapped yarn carefully off the cardboard. Grasp the wrapped yarn bundle in one hand and twist the rubber band tightly around the center with the other, making an hourglass shape. Cut the loops on both ends of the yarn bundle. Fluff the cut ends with your fingers to make a round, fluffy sheep body.
- 3). Cut the black pipe cleaner in two equal pieces. Fold each cut piece in half, making a V-shape. Glue the pointed end of one pipe cleaner V into the fluffy body at one end to make the front legs. Glue the second piece into the other end, to make the back legs.
- 4). Cut a small oval from black felt to make the face. Glue the two eyes to the face and glue the bell to the bottom edge. Glue the completed face onto one end of the sheep body.
- 5). Tie the ends of the ribbon or cord together tightly to make a loop for the ornament hanger. Glue the bottom of the loop into the yarn at the center top of the sheep's body. Allow the glue to dry completely for half an hour before hanging the sheep.
