    • 1). Go to a doctor immediately if you suspect you are infected with malaria, have been traveling in a region known for a prevalence of the disease or if you experience any malaria-like symptoms after being in these areas. The Malaria virus can exist in an incubated state anywhere from 7 to 40 days before symptoms appear, depending on the strain of the virus. Symptoms include severe fever, nausea and vomiting, headache, muscle pain and intense sweating.

    • 2). Follow the WHO-approved adult dose of Artemisinin to treat malaria, which is four tablets at diagnosis, with an additional four tablets each at 8, 24, 36, 48 and 60 hours (24 tablets total over the 2 ½ day treatment period).

    • 3). Wipe out parasites in the body by taking 1 or 2 capsules of 100 mg each per day before meals.

    • 4). Take Artemisinin as a preventative treatment against the disease if you live and work in malaria "hot spots." The recommended dosage is 100mg to 200mg three times a day.
