How to Unlock a Sprint Palm Treo Pro to Alltel
- 1). Type *#06# on your Treo Pro phone and wait for the IMEI numbers to appear. Write the numbers down.
- 2). Dial 888-211-4727 to contact Sprint's customer service department. Ask the representative for the unlock code for your Treo Pro phone. Verify your identity and provide the representative with your IMEI number when prompted.
- 3). Power down your phone and remove the battery. Insert a non-Sprint SIM card into the SIM card slot located in the battery compartment of your Palm Treo phone. The card does not have to be activated. Reinsert the battery and power up the phone.
- 4). Wait for the phone to prompt you for the unlock code. Enter the unlock code in the appropriate field. Wait for the phone to restart.
- 5). Contact Alltel at 1-800-255-8351 and inform the representative that you would like to activate an unlocked Sprint Treo Pro phone.
- 6). Provide the representative with your name, address and Social Security number, if prompted. Select a plan and pay for any activation charges due.
- 7). Provide the representative with the ESN numbers on the sticker affixed to the inside of the battery compartment.
- 8). Wait for the representative to activate your device. Follow any instructions given to register your device on the Alltel network.
