Tacoma Bed and Breakfasts
Tacoma Bed and Breakfasts are more plentiful than you might think and can be perfect alternatives to staying in generic hotels, or cheaper options than luxury hotels if you want a few extra touches. Tacoma B&B options range from affordable to downright luxurious. And while most options are clumped into North Tacoma and the Stadium District, there are options in other parts of Tacoma and surrounding areas, too.
Thornewood Castle
Hands down the best bed and breakfast in Tacoma (and one of the contenders for best in the whole region), Thornewood Castle is a grand Elizabethan manor located in Lakewood. The site as it is today is 100 years old, but the building was actually a 400-year-old manor house in England that was shipped over in 1907 by Chester Thorne. This Tacoma B&B has 15 distinct guest rooms and suites. Guests have three acres of grounds and an English garden to explore, as well as a variety of games and activities available on the premises. This is an amazing place for a wedding ceremony, and around Halloween, you can also join in a haunted tour if you stay the night.
