How to Start My Own Internet Business?
Online businesses attract 3 kinds of people.
1.
The person who has no clue whatsoever about the internet or how making money online works but has realized there are huge financial gains to be made if you get it right.
2.
The internet business entrepreneur who has tried a few different programs and businesses online and met with some degree of success but is still searching for the one "BIG" business to concentrate their time and efforts on.
3.
The savvy internet guru who still understands there are ever evolving opportunities out there and looking for a way to expand on what they have already built.
There is also another category we sometimes describe as the internet "orphan".
These are the people who have been promised the world by a program but then been left high and dry with all the tools but no-one to show them how to use them.
There is a lot of them out there.
Now, different mentors/teams use different ways to try and entice you to join them.
Some use videos of their expensive new cars and big houses, others like to show you their pay cheques and bank accounts, others dismiss these material possessions as misleading and encourage you to join to change your life.
Personally, I think they are all GREAT and will just appeal to different kinds of people and personalities.
What works for one won't work for another, what you must first look for is that these mentorshave the backing of a solid business model behind them which, mentor or not, gives you all the information you could possibly need to build and grow your online business.
I try to build a bond with my team members, show them how hard work and dedication CAN make a difference.
I was very lucky when I first started my online business as I came into a team under a very good friend of mine.
This guy had been my mortgage broker for many years and had spent months looking for an online opportunity.
I was fortunate that I never really had to question how good the business could be.
This was a close friend telling me the success he was having and knew my background, so was happy for me to come onboard.
Incidentally, I approached him having seen a link on the bottom of an email of his.
The beauty of his business is you didn't need to go out to friends & family to try and make sales to get you off the ground as many "businesses" encourage you to do.
Probably like you, I was very skeptical about online marketing but I was fortunate to have a trusted friend steer me in the right direction.
I, of course did some due diligence of my own, but having looked into the online market before and not been impressed I made the decision to give it a try.
I wanted to build my business as a main income generator so initially I had probably more questions to ask than most, but Dave and his team where always at the end of the phone and email to help.
I and my team still have access to all their knowledge and training as well as our own.
We work with and are part of the most successful online team in the business so I really feel that I am part of a group who have every team members best interest as the foundation of the business.
All our team contribute to making everybody more successful and this is a key element to choosing the right group to help you be a success.
Now, the internet business tends to be a very faceless business.
You buy from online shops and never see the person behind the counter who takes your credit card, or the man on the shop floor telling you what a terrific product this is.
And that is what can separate those that do well with this business and those that do phenomenally well.
Imagine buying a product online where you can once again, like in the high street shop, ask someone about the product, speak to someone after you have got it home about a technical query.
Phone up months later to ask how you could get even more benefits out of your product.
And this is where it becomes important to choose a mentor/team that will still be available after you sign up.
There will always be a point when you just can't figure out what step to take next, a moment where you can't find a tutorial in your back office.
Or when the world is on top of you and you just want that boost from someone whose been there and done it.
If you work hard you will be rewarded.
I hate to burst any bubbles, but if you're after a one click money making machine then making money online is not for you.
Be very wary of ventures that claim money is only a click away.
Any business can give you the tools to market your business, you have to be prepared to put in 2 hours a day to make those tools produce results.
The best business in the world won't sell if no one knows it exists.
Now, don't think "I'm not a sales person" or "I can't teach people what to do".
Trust me, the educational products are out there to teach you what to do.
Just be sure your team/mentor will guide you through them and within a short space of time you will be confident to guide your team members through them.
And stop fretting that I don't have the face for all these videos or photos I keep seeing other mentors putting up on the web.
As I said above, there is a mentor out there for everybody.
No matter who you are there will be thousands of people around the world who can relate to you in particular and trust you to show them how to build their business.
So, in conclusion,be sure that the mentor you choose to help you when you move forward is someone you want to work with and be taught by, maybe someone who's lifestyle and values are something you aspire to.
Someone you could sit down for a drink with and throw ideas about, or just someone you could see as a friend.
Good luck and always do your due diligence.
