Yes using vinegar to clean hardwood floors is strictly a no no! The problem is that you want to keep your wooden floor clean and sparkling. If you want to do that you need to invest in expensive floor cleaners and polishes which is another problem. Vinegar comes into the scenario as it is regarded as a cheap means to clean the floor.

Vinegar could be inexpensive but it is acidic which is not at all good for your clean hardwood floor. Your hardwood floor needs that special maintenance but not with vinegar. This acidic side of vinegar eschews the floor which is definitely not the thing you want to happen to them.

Thus regular use of vinegar to clean hardwood floors is not good. Hence it is not good for the floor. It will damage the floor in the long run. It will make your floor look bumpy and irregular. One fine day you will notice this and the damage is already done by then.

This way it will degrade the quality of your floor. Then the floor you love so much for which you have tried to do so much will fall apart in front of you. Vinegar makes your floor cleaner but it is harmful for the hardwood. However some people that if you can dilute with some warm water then it will not be that damaging. Well what can be said in this regard is that poison is poison. Be it in limited amount or in large portions it will be dangerous. Hence it is better to avoid using this material on your beloved floor of hardwood.

Experts say that you can replace vinegar with once or twice but not more than that. It is a good idea to keep away from vinegar if you have hardwood floors. You need to be extra careful even if you are replacing it once. Now that you know what damages it can cause, so keep at a bay if not or anything but your lovely hardwood flooring. In short do not use vinegar for your floor!

You need to get the basics right in this case. The fact is that you may be able to save money but you may not be able to save the floor for long!
