How to Make a Black Cat Project
- 1). Make the body. Using a 9-by-12 inch piece of black construction paper, trace a large circle and cut it out.
- 2). Make the head. Using a second sheet of black construction paper, trace a smaller circle and cut it out. Attach the smaller circle to the top of the larger one.
- 3). Make the ears and the feet. Cut two triangles for the ears and two rectangles (1-by-14 inches) for the feet. Adhere the triangle to the top of the cat’s head and adhere the legs to the front of the body. The cat will appear to be sitting down.
- 4). Make the whiskers. Using white construction paper cut 6 thin rectangle strips to use for the whiskers. Attach the whiskers to the middle of the face, three on each side.
- 5). Make a tail. Cut a tail out of black construction paper. The shape of the tail should be curved like a question mark. Attach the cat’s tail to the back of the large circle.
- 6). Make the eyes. Using green construction paper cut out two circles to use for the eyes. Inside the green circles, adhere a pair of wiggle eyes. Attach the eyes to the face.
