Calls

• While the phone is idle, key a 10-digit phone number into the phone with the numbered keypad. Push the green "Call/Answer" key on the left side of the phone to send the call. The phone will ring. Push the "Call/Answer" key to answer an incoming call or push the red "End Call" button to send it to voicemail.
  
  

Texts

• To send a text message, push the "Start" button and then select "Messaging," "Text Messaging" and "New." A new text message screen will appear. Type a contact number into the "To" field and type a message using the letter keys into the "Message" field. Select "Send" to send the text message to the contact number.
  
  

Photos

• Push the "Camera" key on the front of the Q 9m to take a picture. The camera screen will appear on the display. Point the lens, located on the back of the camera, toward the subject. Push the "Camera" button to take the picture and save it to the phone's internal memory.
