Desire is the first step towards great achievements and success. And it should not be just merely a wish or a hope. But it should be deeply seated within you. You must have a Burning Desire for success or whatever it is that you want.

A Burning Desire will allow you to transcend any obstacles that may come your way and you know that as a Small business Owner, you will have many obstacles. It will energize you. It will get you out of bed in the morning and push you towards taking action which will bring you closer to your goals. A Burning Desire will take you out of your comfort zone and get you to places where you don't even want to be, but will put you in the right direction. In fact, in his book "Think and Grow Rich", Napoleon Hill stated that if your desire becomes an obsession of your mind, you can not fail.

In order to develop a Burning Desire you must first be clear on exactly what it is that you want to achieve. Then develop a definite daily plan of action, and start an all out assault to accomplish your dreams.

Write your goals on a few pieces of paper and post them around the house where you can see them and read them at least four times per day. It is important to keep your goals in your mind so that your sub-conscious mind can feed off your thoughts and conscious mind.
