  In the northern tip of Wisconsin lies the small rural town of Bayfield overlooking Lake Superior. Bayfield also lies approximately 85 miles east of Duluth, Minnesota and about four hours by car northeast of Minneapolis and St. Paul. • The Winfield Inn offers two buildings with 31 guest rooms, all of which have lake-view, smoke-free and pet-friendly accommodations located in the heart of Bayfield. Within 15 miles of the Winfield Inn are recreation and attractions inclusive of the Washburn Cultural Center, Madeline Island Historical Museum and the Apostle Islands Area Campground.
