• 1). Visit the South Carolina Motor Vehicles Department's Driver Point and Status page on their website.
  
  
• 2). Enter your license number, your social security number and your date of birth and click "submit."
  
  
• 3). Check the status of your license as it appears on this page. If it has been suspended, it will state, "suspended" as the status.
  
  

In Person

• 1). Visit your local branch of the south Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. Offices are open Monday to Friday and every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Exact hours vary from office to office, but they are available on the department website.
  
  
• 2). Take a number and wait to be called.
  
  
• 3). Present your license to the motor vehicles clerk when you are called on. She will be able to tell you whether or not your license has been suspended.
