How to Remove the Service Provider From a Palm 700p Treo
- 1). Back up the information on your Palm device. When flashing your phone, you may lose some of your data. Use your Palm Desktop Manager to back up important information.
- 2). Contact the service provider that you want to use. Verify that your Palm Treo 700p phone is compatible with its network. You need to know this before attempting to go on with the flashing process.
- 3). Download the flashing software from that service provider. Attach the USB data cable to your desktop computer or laptop. Connect the other end to your Palm Treo 700p.
- 4). Follow the instructions that came with the flashing software. The software will remove the information from your old service provider and add the information from your new service provider. Disconnect the USB data cable once flashing is complete.
