How to Make a Tournament Schedule

    Teamopolis

    • 1). Navigate your web browser to Teamopolis' Free Round Robin Tournament Generator Tool to create a "round robin" style tournament schedule (see Resources).

    • 2). Type a name for your tournament into the "Tournament Name" field, and select the schedule type from the drop-down menu labeled "Schedule Type."

    • 3). Select the number of teams in your tournament using the drop-down menu labeled "Number of Teams."

    • 4). Type the participants into the field labeled "Team Names," separating each team or individual's by name with a comma. Enter match locations into the "Location Name" field, separating each location name with a comma.

    • 5). Click on the "Generate" button to create your tournament schedule.

    SplendidCity

    • 1). Download a free copy of SplendidCity (see Resources). Install the program and then launch it. Click on the "File" header at the top of the program, and then select the "Add a New Project" option from the drop-down menu that appears.

    • 2). Enter a name for your project into the "Unique Project or Grouping Name" field in the menu that appears. Click on the "Browse" button to select a location on your computer to store your schedule and then click "Save and Close" to return to the main menu.

    • 3). Type a name for your tournament into the "Schedule Name" field and then select your tournament type from the list of tournament styles located below the "Schedule Type" heading. Click on the ">" button to continue.

    • 4). Click on the "+" button to add locations to your tournament--click ">" to continue. Click the "+" button on the next page to add teams, and click ">" to move to the next section.

    • 5). Click on the "Officials" heading on the left to list your tournament's officiating crew and click. Click on the "Date" and "Time" options to set your tournament's date and time.

    • 6). Click on the "Finish" option to generate your tournament schedule.

    Tournament Bracket Builder

    • 1). Download and install a free copy of Tournament Bracket Builder, and then launch the program (see Resources).

    • 2). Type a name for your tournament into the "Tournament Title" field, and select the amount of teams, or participants, from the drop-down menu box labeled "Tournament Size."

    • 3). Specify whether your tournament will be a single or a double elimination contest, using the drop down menu labeled "Tournament Type."

    • 4). Type the names of the tournament participants into fields below the "Player/Team Names" heading. Click on the "Make Bracket" button to generate your tournament schedule.
