    Connecting the Phone

    • 1). Make sure the phone is on.

    • 2). Connect the phone to the USB cable and connect the other end of the USB cable to any USB port on your computer.

    • 3). If the phone does not automatically bring up a menu that includes "music transfer", or if the computer wants you to install new software, then hit the Menu/OK button and select USB mode under the tools menu and allow the phone to sync with your computer.

    • 4). Select music transfer and press Menu/OK.

    • 5). On your computer, double click the My Computer icon on the desktop or access My Computer through the Start Menu (Start Menu > Programs > Accessories (2000 and later) > Windows Explorer > My Computer). If using the start menu, you may have to single click on the box next to My Computer to get it to show everything available.

    • 6). Your phone will appear as a drive in My Computer. If you're opening My Computer from the desktop, double click on the drive that corresponds to your Lotus phone. If using the Start Menu, single click on the drive to see the folders inside.

    • 7). You should see a music folder on the Lotus phone drive. Using the same process you did to find the Lotus drive, use the My Computer icon or Windows Explorer to locate the music you want to transfer to your phone. Once you've found the music you want to transfer, simply select the files and drag them into the music folder on the Lotus drive.
