How to Check My Food Stamp Status in New Jersey
- 1). Visit New Jersey's OneApp website and click on the link that reads "Status." Enter your application number and your date of birth. The results returned will tell you the current status of your food stamp application, as well as the status of your NJ FamilyCare application if you completed one.
- 2). Call your county welfare agency and request to speak with a case manager. Give the case manager your application number and your birth date so that he can look up your status online from his computer. This option is available for individuals who do not have access to an Internet service.
- 3). Visit the county welfare agency where you applied if you happen to be in the neighborhood. You may have to take a number and wait in line to speak with a case manager, but you will be able to personally inquire about the status of your application at the welfare agency itself.
