In the alternate world of Vestoria, the power being known as the Haos Bakugan Naga made the choice to upset the balance of power in this already tumultuous world by integrating power sources into itself.
Bakugans are a small and magnetized sphere which after it crosses onto a gate card will turn into an ever powerful warrior.
Naga was unfortunate to not have been completely successful in the absorption of both power sources as it only absorbed the negative energy while the Bakugan known as Wavern took in all of the positive energy.
This was the beginning of the world wide phenomenon known as Bakugan.
There is of course the ridiculously popular trading card game that goes hand in hand with the small spherical magnetized warriors that where of course known as the Bakugan.
When the magnetized spheres came into contact with a gate card then they would spring open revealing the warrior that was contained inside, the Haos Bakugan Naga for example.
This highly collectible game is widely popular with groups in grade school all the way up to grownups.
There are very few who not well familiar with this gaming craze.
