How to Go From Your Profile to Your Pages on Facebook
- 1). Log in to your Facebook account as you normally would. Make sure that your Facebook account has administrative rights on the Facebook page you are trying to switch to. If you created the page, you'll have administrative rights by default, but if someone else created the Facebook page you need to be invited to be an administrator.
- 2). Click "Account" in the top right-hand corner of Facebook and then click "Use Facebook as Page." This option will only appear if you are linked to a Facebook page as an administrator. You'll see a list of all of your pages with each page's profile picture and name. Click the blue "Switch" button to change how you use Facebook.
- 3). Follow the three-step process to set up and promote your page if this is the first time you've logged in to it, or click on "Wall" to post to the Page's newsfeed. Facebook asks you to add a cell phone to the account for updates, but this isn't needed to use Facebook as a Page.
- 4). Click "Account" again and then "Switch back to..." and your user name to return to your profile page. If you have several pages on Facebook, you need to return to your profile to switch to new pages each time. Click "Account" and "Use Facebook as Page" and then choose a different page to access that specific page.
- 5). Expand the list of applications and links on your Facebook Profile page to see a list of your Pages. When Facebook updated in May 2011, Pages became a part of the "Profile" page, but not all Facebook users can see this by default. Click "More" in the second section of the left navigation menu (under "Photos") to expand the list and to include some of your less-frequently used link. Your pages should appear here with a flag icon beside them, but you can click "See Hidden" and add your pages to the menu manually. Check the box beside each page to include it and then click "Show Selected Apps."
