Asthma - The Symptoms
Asthma is a condition that affects the airways these are small tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs.
When the airways are irritated they begin to swell and cause difficulty in breathing which is one of the symptoms of asthma.
This is when one is said to have an asthma attack.
There are different symptoms of asthma that manifests in people in different ways, the conditions are not always the same and vary from person to person.
Some of the causes of asthma are family history, eczema or allergies, animal hair, flowers, environmental pollution, smoking when pregnant; this tends to affect the baby much more.
Symptoms include sneezing, shortness of breath and lightness of the chest and as said earlier this vary from individuals in different circumstances trigger asthma.
Situations such as the weather are key reasons.
Chilly weather doesn't seem to come real good with persons suffering from this conditions sampling is also another determinate factor.
One should therefore dress warmly during chilly weather or winter.
Smoking affects the lungs and this can cause one to have an asthma attack if already suffering from this condition.
Colds and viral infections do trigger this condition too.
Emotions and hormones can contribute to this.
This condition has no cure but there are medications that are used to control it.
Some of them include reliever inhalers and preventer inhalers which are used to relief the condition when one has an attack or to prevent the condition before it occurs.
