Of all the parrots you can buy the African Grey Parrot is the best talker and it is also one of the easiest to teach to speak.
As long as you practice with them a lot, the African Parrot can develop an impressive vocabulary and it will eventually be able to carry on short conversations or tell you what it wants.
If you get to this point, your life will be a lot easier because you no longer have to guess at what your bird wants; it will just tell you.
Another reason the African Greys are so popular is because they are quite easy to keep.
Unfortunately, 'easy to keep' does not mean the same thing as 'clean bird'.
They can be pretty messy, but you will get used to it.
There are two different types of African Grey: the Congo African Grey and the Timneh African Grey.
You can tell them apart by their coloration.
