Ladies might be experts at wearing multiple hats and juggling lots of jobs, but no matter how much we do, calorie burning doesn't work out for women like it does for men.
A woman's body is literally designed to hang onto more fat in order to protect her periods and ability to carry a child and lactate.
This is why women's work out routines are so important to further boosting her daily caloric burn.
Just look on the back of your cereal box and you'll see how men and women's daily calorie intake needs can differ.
While a very active man might need 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day to maintain his body weight, calories work out for women so they only need 1,500 to 1,750 on an active day.
But often women's work out schedules don't reflect their real calorie-burning needs.
Women also tend to be more emotional in their eating patterns.
Moods, stress, monthly cycles...
all of that will work out for women to want to eat more, but if women's work out routines don't counteract those extra calories, then their bodies willingly gain more weight.
Crash diets seldom work out for women; although they might lose weight initially, it's hard to stick with severe eating changes.
If you are a woman, it would be better to follow these three general guidelines for controlling calories: practice portion control, keep a food journal for one week and routinely read labels.
If women were to do those three little things, then women's work out methods could relax somewhat.
Practice Portion Control - Most servings can be dictated by the size of your fist.
It doesn't work out for women to eat the same amount as men, and notice that their fists are smaller.
Wives and mothers who serve regular meals to their families should be careful to avoid dishing up the same amount of food for themselves as they give to their partner.
Keep a Food Journal - For just one week, write down everything you eat.
If it goes into your mouth, then it goes into your notebook.
Women's work out practices can also be noted in the margins.
This creates a hyper-awareness of imbalances between food groups, and it will quickly work out for women to see their habits revealed.
Read Labels - During women's work out times, they will frequently the information the machine tells them about how hard, how far and how much they are burning.
It doesn't work out for women to avoid the information that her favorite brands tell her about what is really in them.
