Pumpkin Pine Farm

• The Pumpkin Pine Farm Bed and Breakfast is 4.2 miles south of Colesville. A 19th-century soap-box-style house serves as the main inn. The house is built from a wood called pumpkin pine. The surrounding farm provides fresh eggs, maple syrup, herbs fruits and vegetables from which breakfast is served every day. There is only room for two guest parties at a time so you know the experience will be private and intimate. Pumpkin Pine Farm recommends that its guests visit Black Bear Winery just 14 miles north of the inn. The winery provides wine tastings, appetizers, live music and winery tours.
  
  

Hotels

• In the neighboring town of Nineveh there is a place called the Central Hotel. This establishment is located on Oak Hill Road just off of Highway 7. Gramma's Country Café, the closest dining establishment, is located at the junction of Highway 7 and Oak Hill Road. If you continue on Highway 7 north for another six miles you will go through Afron. The Jericho Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in Afron on East Main Street across the river from the main part of town.
  
  

Bainbridge

• Bainbridge is 14 miles north of Colesville along Highway 7. Bainbridge offers a few more choices for overnight lodging. The Algonkin Motel is a locally-owned motel with average amenities that sits right alongside the highway past the main downtown Bainbridge area. Rooms at the Algonkin have amenities such as cable TV, air conditioning, wireless Internet, microwaves and refrigerators. The Susquehanna motor lodge is located in downtown Bainbridge. This motel features eight roadside guest rooms according to the Chenango County Website.
  
  

Binghamton

• Binghamton is a larger town 19 miles west of Colesville. This area offers the most choices in overnight lodging facilities. There is a Howard Johnson, Comfort Inn, Fairfield Inn, Super 8 and Holiday Inn at the junction of interstates 81 and 86. Locally-owned hotels include the Wright Motel southeast of town and The Del Motel. The Del Motel has similar amenities than many of the average chain hotels. Cable TV, wireless Internet, ironing and laundry facilities, refrigerators and hair dryers are in every room. The Grand Royale Hotel in downtown Binghamton is more extravagant than your average highway motel. This hotel is in a historic 1897 city hall building with high ceilings and turn-of-the-century architecture.
