Through iTunes

• Plug your iPod touch into your computer. When it appears in iTunes, click on the device in the Devices list. Select the Apps tab in the main window. You will see a list of apps available for the device and a display that shows how they are arranged on the iPod touch. With the mouse, click and drag the application to the place you want it on the device's screen. When you finish arranging icons in the order in which you want them to appear on your iPod touch, click the Sync button (or the Eject button next to the iPod touch in the Devices list).
  
  

On the Device

• Turn on your iPod touch and unlock it. Go to the apps page you want to rearrange and press and hold down on any app icon. After a few seconds, all the app icons will start to vibrate and an X will appear on the top left-hand corner of each icon. With your finger, drag the icons to the position you want them, but do not touch the X or it will delete the app. To move the app to a different page, drag it to the right or left side of the page. This will move the app to the previous or next page on the iPod touch. Existing apps on the page will automatically rearrange themselves around the moved app. After you finish arranging the icons, press the Home button to save the changes.
  
  

Deleting Apps

• On both iTunes and the iPod touch, you can also delete apps. When you are rearranging the icons in iTunes or on the device, each of the app icons has an X in the top left-hand corner. Click on it (with your finger on the device or with the mouse in iTunes) to remove the app from your iPod touch. If using iTunes, you'll need to Sync the device before you unplug it from the computer for the app changes to take effect.
