How to Make a Party Crown for Kids
- 1). Take one piece of large construction paper and cut it into strip horizontally about three to five inches across.
- 2). Cut the shape of the crown into the paper. The simplest method is to cut inverse triangles out of the top of your strip of paper; you may cut these at an interval of your choosing. For more complex designs, consult an image of crown and reproduce its shape with your paper (see Resources below).
- 3). Decorate your crown. You can add decorative touches by coloring in jewels, by affixing sequins or by any other way you choose.
- 4). Leave your paper crowns open so they can be fitted on each child's head individually. When the kids are ready to don their crowns, simply fit the crown around the child's head and fix in place with two pieces of tape.
