Consumers buy directly to wholesale markets in China for better deals
In China's capital Beijing, the wholesale market is really a spectacular see. One of the most well known wholesale apparel markets in Beijing has been coined, the Zoo Market for it's close proximity to the Beijing Zoo. Every day the Zoo market opens bright and early|first thing in the morning|early in the morning} at six every day of the week wholesale sellers arrange the products on their booths and individual consumers and retail store owners rub the sleep out of their eyes and prepare themselves to be the first to get at the great deals. As the saying goes: they early bird gets the worm!
This sprawling market is not just a market but large area composed of many smaller markets. For instance there an two-level building which people all the "Korean Market". This so-called Korean Market is simply comprised of apparel wholesaler who sell mostly Korean-looking clothes and accessories. This market and other surrounding ones carry everything from handbags, shoes, makeup, wigs to belts and jewelry. The variety of wearable items in this market is truly dizzying.
In addition to the wide range of products, there are also wholesale vendors who are concentrate on one particular item. For instance one vendor offers more than 550 types of hats, selling nothing else. Other venders specialize in one type of product like jewelry, athletic shoes and clothing, or leather goods (wallets, sandals, boots, handbags). One of the more unusual stores in the wholesale Zoo Market area was a merchant dedicated to selling wigs. This vendor has everything from artificial and real wigs, to tupe's and extentions of various of colors.
Another notable part of the Zoo Market is called shoe city. In this underground area, there are thousands upon thousands of shoes, ready for either wholesale or retail. Shoe City offers everything from trainers to sandals and boots-no matter the season! the reason being that retailers from all over come to buy in bulk. It is not even uncommon to see tourists from other countries buying in bulk for the next winter at the Zoo Market.
One last note one doesn't have to worry when it comes to sustainance or refreshments when buying from the wholesale market. No doubt purchasing wholesale is not easy work. lugging around 50 pairs of jeans, for instance is no walk in the park. It's only normal that one gets sweaty and dirty, not to mention thirsty and hungry. thankfully, at the Zoo Market, there is more than cheap apparel. Littering the roads and allyways surrounding the Zoo Market, are dozens of beverage and skewer sellers, in addition to everything from street stalls to proper dining halls.
